Speak Onit Radio Inc. KSIP FM 91.5 The Voice Of The Community

It is the goal of KSIP to provide broadcast communications training for persons with an interest in radio, living throughout our coverage area. KSIP will serve as an information and communication tool for the urban community. KSIP will train, and utilize community members (school and college students) through our internship program, as on-air announcers. KSIP will provide training in broadcast management, administration, and on-air programming through informative, and educational training. KSIP will gather information in order to provide a forum for discussing issues that affect the lives of North East Arkansas as a means to improve the quality of life for our community as a whole. It is our vision to aid in providing a positive experience for the residents of the KSIP (North East Arkansas) listening area with entertainment, community programming, and a forum for discussing issues and topics that affect our lives. To meet this goal Speak Onit Radio Inc. was awarded a full power FM Broadcast License, granted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for 5,500 watts in March of 2013. The KSIP call letters (ka-sip) were inspired by the thought of the community having a taste of everything that is needed in the form of gathering information that will help us be more informed in our daily lives, by providing the opportunity for you, the general public the tool in which your concerns can be stated, and addressed. KSIP is a non-commercial radio station, targeting the urban contemporary audience. It is our goal to air programming to enhance our lives, along with rhythm & blues, jazz, southern soul, gospel music, and programming to meet our times. KSIP programs and activities are intended to serve as a motivational platform to draw to gather radio-minded community members who are interested in providing a broadcast medium for a community that has been misrepresented, and misinformed by local and mainstream media entities.
